POINTS OF ATTENTION WHEN REPLACING THE GEARBOX
-> Work must be carried out by a trained and skilled person
-> Is the delivered bin the correct type? (same bin code)
-> Check for any (transport) damage
-> Check all oil seals for leaks. When in doubt, renew.
-> Also check the clutch, (2nd mass) flywheel, pressure and top bearing
ATTACHMENTS THAT CAN BE CONVERTED
-> Overbuild all the attachments to the old bin (including passockets and switching mechanism)
-> Check for condition and quality
-> Clean all parts carefully
-> Use original electronic parts from your own car
-> When baking with an external oil cooler, always renew the oil cooler
-> Add oil according to factory specifications
PAY ATTENTION! Some buckets have multiple oil systems. Complete all systems correctly.
AFTER INSTALLATION AND TEST DRIVE:
-> Check for any leaks
-> Check the oil level and other fluids again
ARE OUT OF WARRANTY (WITH USED GEARBOXES)
-> Oil seals and possibly supplied thrust bearings
